stacked


Felt good to paint today. Have had a lot going on lately that has kept me from the easel.
I am still loving my new bowls. Love them so much that I went back to
kohls(oops) and got some more including the big green bowl. I hope people knew I was being facetious when I was going on and on about the bowls in one of my last posts.
I am headed to an art show up in the mountains of Alabama this weekend. Yes, we actually have mountains in Alabama. Foot hills of the Appalachians. I do not do too many shows but have really enjoyed meeting people in the ones I have participated in. Always nice to hear feedback. and sell!

    Hi Carol, Nice composition! Your bowls remind me of Fiestaware. Looking back a few posts - nice job on the roosters - the brushwork is so good! Have a great time this weekend! I'm having a house full at the beach!

    Love the color, composition and I'm off to get some bowls - LOVE THIS - and the 5x7 too - and a whole bunch of other stuff. . . I could go on and on - but these are great!

    Really nice painting! I love the colors and your composition. I also like seeing your brush strokes. I think I'll see if I can find a Kohl's here. Love the cups and bowls.

    Of course I knew you were being facetious (as was I in my comment)! This is so lovely. I am reminded of old country kitchens, back when heavier crockery was used for mixing and backing and eating...This is just truly lovely, Carol!

    Carol, this is a beautiful painting. (I might have to sneak over to Kohl's and pic up a few bowls! They remind me a little of Tena Payne's work.) You must be heading up to Mentone this weekend. Hope you have a great show! And thanks for all of your comments on my new blog and paintings!
