I think these fruits work well together. Thanks to those of you who answered my question about the names of this type of cherry. This is painted on a 6 x 12" linen canvas. Sold
On dirait un parc où les parents promènent leurs enfants!!! bien sûr c'est une image... J'aime ce trio de poire charnue et ces cerises qui les accompagnent. Un très joli contraste avec le fond. Belle composition. Gros bisous
A perfectly shaped surface for this painting. It really emphasizes the direction of the pears and cherries. I love the colors you're using. Such a warm blend of golds, ochres, reds and browns.
I love the warm color palette on this one and the composition...the pears and cherries lead me across the canvas...I just love it. And I DO love rainier cherries.

ReplyDeleteLove the one pear and the one cherry who choose to stand apart from their cohorts. Nice composition, Carol. That's it! Rainier cherries.
ReplyDeleteThe depth and resonance of all the yellow is so soothing. You can practically chew it!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for your encouraging comments on my blog - it helps!
