Coming up with different still life set ups that are interesting to me and the viewer is always a challenge. I started with the purple orchid and chose items from there. I personally like to paint flowers that are stemmy rather than real full. I think bunches of flowers are overwhelming to me. This is painted on an 11 x 14" linen panel. Have a great weekend!

This is beautiful; I love all the elements. I agree on the flowers, I just finished some hydrangeas and they wore me out! Too many petals to contend with.
