ginger

Ginger belongs to a good friend of mine. The painting is a surprise Christmas gift for her husband. Ginger is an older chocolate lab and getting lots of character in her face with the greyish beard and eyebrows. She is a big Auburn tiger fan so I tried to include as much of her collar as possible. This is painted on an 11 x 14" linen canvas.sold

  4. Look at that heart showing in this beauty's face! Her owner will love this, Carol. It always makes me sad to see animals aging. It happens even faster for them than it does for us.

  5. Really nice. I have a chocolate lab female and lost my old yellow lab 2 years ago after having him for 15 years. I loved how he not only showed his character in his face as he aged but how he aged with such dignity. He remained, patient, kind, and loving til the end. I have several paintings of him, that I will always treasure as I'm sure the owners of this dog will.
