Decided to do
Carol Marine's challenge on daily paintworks to loosen up before working on some commissions. You basically divide a canvas into sections and give yourself ten minutes to do a quick painting of an object in each section. I'm not a good splainer...check out the challenge. It is a great exercise in keeping your painting loose and not overworking. These pool balls are painted on an 8 x 8" gallery wrap canvas. Lots of fun!
Hey, she said the first one was expected to be bad, how comes yours is just perfect??
ReplyDeleteThese are sooooo good. I love this exercise. You nailed it.
ReplyDeleteThey look very loose and effortless, NICE!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful and this is a tough challenge with the subject matter you choose. Different values in light and shadow of both the white and orange....Girl= you got it and love the geometric rounds against the 4 squares. This is fun!
ReplyDeleteI like the variation in the four paintings. Same subject but different views. Really great job on the values and shadows. I like it!
