Heidi was rescued by the Clendenon family two years ago. They think she is probably half great pyrenees. I am thinking she must be pretty special because she has six furry house mates (excluding the humans) and she was the first to have her portrait painted. I think her eyes are especially great. She is painted on an 11 x 14" gallery wrap canvas.
I am preparing to participate in an art show in Nashville this weekend. It is sponsored by the David Lipscomb Campus school and 30% of the proceeds go to support the school. LOVE going to Nashville. Come see me if you are in the area.

  1. Gorgeous sculpting with your brushwork on her coat. I love her eyes too. Lucky Heidi and family to have this beautiful portrait. Have fun in Nashville- wish I could be there!!

  2. She's really cute and sweet. Love her eyes and the loose brushwork! :)

  3. Those fresh energetic brushstrokes really give it life!

  4. Look at that gorgeous and oh so soft coat!! Heidi is a beauty, Carol!

  5. He's lovely!! You painted the fur so well. And you got a wonderful expression on his face. Wonderful.
    Happy Painting,
