I was going to go with "technicolor Tucker" for the title but changed my mind when I noticed the swooping hair on his right eye. I think he is looking very sensual in this pose. Tucker was neutered at six months so don't have your female dogs calling us. He is just nice to look at.
On another note....my one year blog anniversary is coming up in two days. Not sure what to paint? It has been such a fun year . Learned lots and made many new friends.
Tucker is painted on a 6 x 8" cradled panel.
beautifull one, you are so great...
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteLove this! Gorgeous brushstrokes and the colors are so good! Love the way you "worked" his fur:)
Wow, a year in blogging- that is awesome.
I suggest a painting of a favorite thing- whatever that might be!
Loving this one of Tucker, who I think I have told you before, reminds me of our beloved Missy, no longer with us...so yes, Tucker is nice to look at.
ReplyDeleteHe is a sexy dog!! Your colors are great and, as always, love seeing all the color and your brushstrokes.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is fantastic! I never knew it would be so great!
I'm with Kathy in that painting a favorite subject is the best! You can paint just about anything so paint and enjoy! :-)
Cute and sexy! Alll the colors are great and the brush work makes him look even sexier! I agree with Linda and Kathy. Paint what you love there is so much to paint so I hope there is an easel waiting for me up yonder!
ReplyDeleteMy Coco wanted me to tell you she really likes the painting of Tucker. She is part Shih-tzu and Bichon Frise. Congratulations on a year of blogging! Paint something you have always wanted to paint.
ReplyDeleteThis is great treatment of hair---not that easy! Congratulations on you first anniversary. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a compact sizzling energy of a dog---very nice!
ReplyDeleteThis is aDORable, Carol. Such personality conveyed, and love the sexy lock of hair :D
