I spotted this beauty a couple of days ago when I was walking in Fairhope. I talked to her owner and found out her name was as cute as she was... Tallulah. Not sure what has gotten into me painting two bulldogs in a week or so. Tallulah was pretty inspiring.
This day is ending better than it began. My e mail was hacked and a message was sent out that I was in the UK and in trouble and needed money. Sorry if you received it. I am not in the UK or in trouble but I will take all donations.
Tallulah is painted on an 11 x14" gallery wrap canvas.
Wow. I love this... So much character, and great composition.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the horizontal bands of color contrasting against Tallulah's "petite" frame.
ReplyDeleteLove this gal, Carol.Great colors!
ReplyDeleteCarol...just too much!! love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat painting! Besides the usual fabulous brushwork, I like the background treatment too...colorful and interesting, but the dog is still the star.
ReplyDeletelove your work--very fresh, painterly, expressive. Especially enjoy the beach beauties series & your dog paintings.
