a week's worth

Happy Mom's day! Happy to be one and to have one. My mom is one of a kind and I am so thankful for her everyday.
Had a great time in Nashville. Always fun to stay with and visit my friend Elizabeth. I met lots of new artist friends too. One of them is the reason I reworked this painting a bit. Vicki Sawyer is a kind and very talented artist who had to stare at this painting for a couple of days. She very delicately told me that she loved the content but not so much the background. She gave me some suggestions that made for a better painting. I love that. This is painted on an18 x 24" linen canvas.
Please excuse the glare.

  1. Would you mind sending Vicki down here to give me some pointers. Really could use a good critique! Love how this turned out, smashing background color!

  6. You've managed to fit just about all of your beloved pots into this one - excellent! Love the how the background picks out the purple in the veggies - it often pays to have a fresh pair of eyes give you some feedback. Great work Carol!
