okie from muskogee

I took this picture a few months ago on my way home from visiting my son who is working in Oklahoma City. I had already made my husband pull over several times for me to take pictures of cows. (patience practiced) We made it a couple of hours down the road and decided to get breakfast in Muskogee. I chose to drive around and take pictures while my husband ate. It was fairly early in the morning and a great light was hitting this okie. I may get to say hello to this cow again because my son found out he is going to live in Muskogee for a few months working on a project there.
This is painted on a 20 x 20"gallery wrap canvas.sold

  1. Like the lighting on this painting, Carol so much! You captured that early morning sun! I never saw so many cows in all my life as I did in Oklahoma when I was coming to and from my trip to Scottsdale. Mucho, mucho beef in that area!

  11. Aller à l'essentiel tout en harmonisant la couleur, la lumière, la profondeur... Remplir l'espace et donner une âme...
    Très jolie peinture.

  12. Love it! I agree with what everyone else said. What I want to know is the secret to getting your husband to continue to pull over. After the trip to Yellowstone mine refuses to. Guess I used up all my pull overs. I know this painting is going to look amazing on someone's wall.

  14. These colors are absolutely fantastic. Such beautiful autumn look! (Even though it wasn't Autumn). Also, if you want some recommendations for restaurants or a wine tour in Florence, we found a couple really amazing local spots. I know you'll have a fantastic time!
