leaning to the left

 
Had to take on Qiang Huang's Valentines challenge on DPW. He is one of my art heroes. Have admired his painting for several years.
It felt SO good to paint in my space again. My little comfort zone. Painted this on a 6 x 8 linen panel.

  18. Gosh, this is so gorgeous! Love what you did with the challenge. The mixture of warm and cool reds in the buds adds so much life. Love what's going on in the jar too. All I can say is, you really know your way around Values! Wow!!!
