I love what you can say on a small canvas. I find that I can paint more character into my pieces when I am working on a small canvas. I am working on translating that to big canvases and I think I am getting better at it. Using larger tools helps but it is still tough. This is painted on a 6 x 6 x 2" canvas. If I were good at math I would tell what a percentage that was of yesterday's 3 x 4' painting.
