turnips and sunflower

I love the colors in turnips.  This is painted on an 8 x 10" linen panel.
I am preparing for two upcoming shows.  November 16 -29th the Mountain Brook Art Association will have work in the downstairs level of Brookwood Mall.  The old Gus Mayer location.  Ten percent of the proceeds go to the "make a a wish" foundation.  I am the featured artist November 29th and will be there all day and painting from 12-5.
Packing up that night and heading out the next morning to participate in a three day art show in Nashville.  The Brentwood Academy fine arts show is Dec1-3.  The answers is ....yes, I am a little crazy.  Or will be.sold

  1. I like the colors in turnips also, better than I like eating them! You've captured the colors beautifully, Carol. Great job on the mug too!

  2. This is a beautiful harvest-y group of colors and even a bountiful overall sense. Love it! Good luck at your shows, Carol.
