I have enjoyed painting pansies lately. I like the intense colors. This is painted on an 8 x 8" panel. I am setting up for a show the Mt Brook Art Association is having in the old Gus Mayer location of Brookwood Mall. Ten percent of the sales go to "make a wish". There are eighty artists participating so there will be a good variety of work and prices. Brookwood Mall has some wonderful stores and restaurants so start your holiday shopping now. The show will be open from 10-8 every day beginnning Nov 16. I am the featured artist Thursday, Nov 29th so I will have a lot more work on display that day. I also plan on painting on location from 12-5.
I really love this one - the colors are so warm and creamy.. and the brushwork ROCKS!
