poser

It is hard to beat painting a rooster.  Strange how this bird has such a following.  So many love to paint them. Guess it is their color and atttitude. This is painted on an 8 x 8" gallery wrapped canvas.sold

  1. I've never had the yen to paint a rooster as it has always been done so beautifully by other artists who make it look deceptively easy. You do them proud, Carol.

  2. I recently did some chicken paintings for a small works show and someone said to me; "Everyone is painting chickens these days!" I said, "It's not about the subject matter. It's how it's painted!" (Henry Hensche said " A good artist could make a trash barrel pleasing to look at.") Keep on painting those delicious roosters with all those luscious brush strokes!

As a guy, if I need an "in," I can comprehend purchasing one consume to get within "The Poser's" area a bit; but after speaking with The Poser, the people that buy the woman another consume worsen me because they confirm her actions. Really, it only concerns me in hindsight. daily crossword/a puzzle
