Yes, that dreaded gravity effects us all after a certain point in our lives. For those of you that are new to my blog, I took photos a year ago on Dorchester Bay in Boston of several older ladies enjoying the beach. I have had so much painting them. I am working on a large triptych of three of them. Each panel is 20 x 60". I will try and photograph them as I get further along.This babe is painted on an 8 x 10" gallery wrapped canvas.
I love the title of this piece Carol, it made me laugh. I couldn't help but notice how similar this painting is with the one below...separated by 70 years!
ReplyDeleteSigh...gravity...hormones...it all turns ugly after awhile. At least for me. Still, I admire these women who will put on a bathing suit anyway.
