wading

I warned you I had more pictures. This was my second attempt at using a black primed gesso board. I won't say it was easy. I struggled through lots of it but am pleased with the outcome. This is painted on a 5 x 7" panel. I have lots to learn. Isn't that great?

Thank HEAVEN they are changing the size limit. It's been a nightmare for me.

  6. She is beautiful, Carol. It would be fun to compare the same painting done on a white background. I'm not sure I would know the difference. Do you have anything you've done both ways you could show? Your work is always so lovely.

  7. Thanks ladies Carol, that is an interesting idea. Think I will play with that. I am planning on painting one of roosters on black to see the difference that makes. I think it will be a nice addition.

  8. This is such a charming painting! Great job on the figure. You've captured the childlike innocence so well by including her little bear. Beautiful colors and style!
