This is a commission piece of my friend's grandsons. Isn't it such a typical picture of little boys? They look so curious. Wonder what trouble they are ready to get into? I hope something that won't get their outfits too dirty.
This is painted on an 11 x 14" canvas.
WOW Carol! Great job! Barbara will be so happy, and her daughter-in-law will be thrilled! My mother is so impressed, and she is already looking for something for you to paint. You are doing a great job painting glass and water in your other art work!ReplyDelete
Very nice. I can just feel the little hands gripping the railing...ReplyDelete
Lovely one, Carol.ReplyDelete
Darling Carol, you are right about little boys and their curiosity!ReplyDelete
Carol, these boys are adorable! Makes me wonder just what they are looking at!ReplyDelete
Oh my gosh! This is beautiful and just what I wanted. It is going to be hard to wait until Christmas and hard to give it up. You have captured the personalities perfectly. Thomas always tries to imitate his older brother. I LOVE it!ReplyDelete
Hah! I didn't have boys of my own but this sure could have been my daughters too. And I would guarantee those cute outfits are going to get dirty! (Experience, not negativity speaking! LOLOL) I love this piece, Carol. There is just a delightful innocence in this piece. Makes me think they are in a barn or on a farm and are just excited about nature and that makes me so happy. You just don't see that too much with kids these days!ReplyDelete
Carol this is gorgeous! Godd work on the whites, you've managed to keep them varied, not flat, and still ept the bright white. Perfect! Love the lone pear in a bowl from a few days ago too. Rich, inviting, very Carol Carmichael. Great stuff :)ReplyDelete
