I have some happy news to report. My husband officially retired today after 33 years in the banking industry. A big woo hoo for him. I will tell you in a few weeks whether it is a big woo hoo for me. Think it will be. And...my youngest son, Dillon, is graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Geology this Friday. Sold
Sooo love this tired little guy, and I can only imagine how you must feel a little like that with just finishing your art shows. They can be very hard work. Congratulations to the new retiree...he can now become your gofer. That'll get him busy finding something else to do! And also congrats to the new graduate and to his parents who finally have college bills behind them. That was a big day for us!ReplyDelete
Love this painting, Carol! It says so much and I just want to reach into the canvas and pet him. Congratulations to your husband and son. It's an exciting time for your family. I am looking forward to my husband retiring, which I hope will happen in a couple of years.ReplyDelete
This portrait of this dog is EXCELLENT! I hope you paint dogs again....you really do so well with them.! And congratulations on both your son and husband! My husband is in denial and refuses to retire. lol.......The problem is I have hobbies....he doesn't. He loves gardening and playing with the koi's in my yard, but the winters would be tough..... travelling would be an option.....hmmm...!ReplyDelete
Congratulations to both your husband and Dillon! I think it will be a big woohoo for you, too. This Lab is a sweetheart! I love it and you've captured the perfect pose!ReplyDelete
