This cow stared at me the whole ten minutes I was taking pictures of her and her friends. I have not seen or painted a lot of grey cows and this one was a beauty. I enjoy experimenting with combinations of colors to get grey. Definitely not just a mixture of black and white. I did not exaggerate the eyelashes on this cow. I have done that before to add to the cow glamor. This one had all the makings for a prize winning cow. She is painted on a 12 x 12 x 2" canvas.
I have enjoyed having this weekend off from doing a show. My youngest son graduated from college and we celebrated with several family members. I go to Tupelo, Mississippi next weekend for the Gumtree Art Festival Saturday and Sunday. Come see me if you are in the area.
