Whats for Dinner?

It's been a good day. I had so much fun painting this little 6 x8". I smiled the whole time. My son took this photo in Lijiang, China. A beautiful, rural area. This rooster was heading in the house to have dinner and watch a little TV. My son said the chickens roam freely inside and out. As beautiful as my sister's rooster, Mr Wonderful was, I know it was not allowed in the house.
So happy to report that I am making a little progress figuring my mac out. I know how to add images now so hopefully the images you see will look better. Yesterday's photo was an all time low.
I will not be posting for a little more than a week because of the trip I mentioned yesterday. I will miss you guys. Will look forward to seeing what you all have painted when I get back!

  7. How appropriate, Carol. It's as if the rooster is saying "Later, guys. I've got things to do." I love him!
    Have a great trip!

  9. I love this chicken and laughed so hard at your post. Her body language is so relaxed...just as you said...strolling in for a little snack and TV. LOL! I really like those red doors and the welcoming light inside.

Hope you have a great trip!
