lotsa sheepsa

I took the reference photo for this painting while visiting a cheese farm in Italy. I guess technically it was a sheep farm. I did not see any cheese in the fields. The sheepsa were too preoccupied with eating to look up but I think it made for an interesting painting. I painted this on a 12 x 24" gallery wrap canvas.

  1. Your title tickles me silly! Love the way your mind works, Carol. It is lovely and I find myself amazed that these guys lined up in a row to eat. Does this place make sheep milk cheese? I'd not heard of that before. Or do they just raise the sheep for fun?

  2. Hello Sherry. They make all kinds of wonderful cheeses from the sheep.
