This is the demo I did the first day of my workshop. It is painted on a 12 x 12 x 2" canvas. The first day we did still life set ups and focused on composition, minimal and loose brushwork, and fresh color. Among many other things. I had a great group with many different levels of experience. Participants are pictured below with some of their pieces. My studio is lonely today.
