I had a bit of a staycation this week. I have a hard time staying out of my studio when I am home but this week I enjoyed getting some much needed rest, sleep and I binge watched "hell on wheels". Having art shows back to back weekends takes a lot out of you so a break felt good.
This piece is painted on a 40 x 40 x 2" canvas. It will be with me at my next show in Bluffton, SC Oct 20 and 21.
Hope your weekend is great!
One little tip in case you did not know it....A great way to perk up hydrangeas and make them not wilt so soon is to cut the stem and dip them in alum. These flowers have looked good for over a week. :)

Wow!
ReplyDeleteNice painting. I love it. I was struck by the movement in your painting. The interaction with reader's mind is very efficient. One of the best abstract work I have seen so far... you are grate! and tanks for the tips! Helpful! and what kind of paints do you use? could you make a simple how a painting from start to finish? I just want to know how do you make such lovely effects? Anyways, thanks a lot and keep it up! Sure I need more about your painting experiences.Because last week I got a work to write an essay on painting. I hope your points will be more helpful to work as well as with essay service.
