My good friends Jeff and Mary came to visit me at the Destin art show and brought me some of their satsuma oranges with the leaves still intact. I am going to paint them every day this week before the leaves dry up. This one is painted on an 8 x 10" linen panel.sold
Below are two pictures taken from the show this weekend. The "three muses" are painted on three 20 x 60" canvases and definitely drew folks in. The three women in the bottom picture re enacted the poses.

J'aime beaucoup cette jolie dernière composition.
gros bisous à vous ma chère.
So great to have fruit that has stems and leaves. You did a nice job. Thanks for posting the pics of your booth. What a great set up and the three ladies looking at the three ladies is just a hoot!
ReplyDeleteI want to have some of that satsuma oranges. I've never seen one in person. Thanks to your painting it makes me know how it looks like and made me aware of its existence. Great art you have here.

Love your curved top tent and how beautiful your art looks hanging within. It is like having your own gallery! I also love how the ladies posed like the women in the centerpiece painting. I think that triptych would draw me into the tent too! Who knew old ladies would make great paintings? (Not me, that is for sure! LOL)
ReplyDeleteLove your tent and your bathing beauties! It all looks amazing! I am sure you had a great show.
ReplyDeleteYour little still life is beautiful also. :)
Very cool Carol.
