north beach

I just returned from seven days of travel helping one son move to Chicago and then going to visit his twin brother in Orlando. I am really proud of them and cherish every moment spent together.
I photographed this little girl at North Beach in Chicago. Hopefully the end product does not reveal the struggles I went through during the painting process.
Fun note...I can finally see what my studio is going to look like in my new home.  All framed up.
This is painted on an 8 x 10" linen panel.sold

  7. The Chicagoans do love their Lake Michigan. Been years since I've been to North Street Beach, in fact, probably not since I was a kid myself. Love her bright orange shovel too. Fabulous, Carol!
