flying chick

I don't think chicks can fly but this one did.  After I paint my pictures I take them outside to photograph.  Today I decided to go out on our rarely used apartment porch to photograph this.  I ran slap dab (slap dab?) into a huge spiderweb spun right outside the sliding glass door.  Chickee went flying outside as I scrambled back inside before the spider attacked me.  They are always on the look out.  Maybe not but I HATE spiders.
This is a commission for my friend so I am glad it survived the attack.  It is painted on a 5 x 5" gallery wrap canvas. sold
