This is a commission piece for my son's college room mate. He is surprising his mom, Rowdy, with it. I love her name. It seems like several of my last posts I have said that I do not usually do this kind of painting but here I go again. I feel more pressure when doing commissions but I feel like it is helping me grow. Forced out of my comfort zone.
I think Rowdy is going to be very happy Christmas day. This is big...2' x 3' on canvas.sold
Beautiful light and color on this piece--love the skin tones against the green-gray. It has such a peaceful feeling to it.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh...Rowdy is going to be blown away on Christmas morning. How will her son ever keep something so beautiful a surprise until then? Love this! Amazing composition and you did so good! Pressure is good for you:):)
