I had a great Thanksgiving with my family. Glad to get back to painting after several days break. I am also busy preparing and packing my work for a three day art show I am taking part in in Nashville. Hope to squeeze in a couple of paintings before I leave. SOLD
Les reflets de l'assiette avec le liseré dans les pommes me plaisent. L'association des formes rondes et anguleuses forme une parfaite opposition qui permet de donner de la valeur aux uns comme aux autres...
ReplyDeleteBisous et bonne reprise.
A wonderful still life, this angular cup is so peculiar, and the flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteGosh this is good! I had to enlarge it to admire your work. I love the brushstrokes on the flowers, on the apples...and I love the bits of red on the plate and apple. Really great!
ReplyDeleteCarol, your colors just sing!! That blue reflection in the apples and the way the reflections soften at the edges... well done my friend~!
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteGreat job- wonderful colors and brushstrokes! Always love to see your set ups- very fun and love those plates and the square mug.
Carol, these last few paintings are real winners. You are continuing to use such luscious colors and just the right loose brushstrokes...all of which translates into great paintings! Good luck on your Nashville show.
ReplyDeleteJust plain Gorgeous colors and strokes!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color and brushwork Carol!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this Carol. such rich color and the brushwork absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCarol, I love the full range of colors in this piece and the lighting is phenomenal!

I could actually reach into the canvas and pick up one of those apples. They look so so solid and have a real palpable presence/form. Really fantastic work Carol, well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I hope to make it to the show in Nashville.
ReplyDeleteCarol, I love the setup and especially the red mug. The apples and flowers compliment it so well. Great colors
ReplyDeleteExcellent! The brushwork, the colors and the composition all work together to make a great painting.
ReplyDeleteSolid.
