Painting a rooster was just what the doctor ordered yesterday.  It was fun using such bright colors and mostly a palette knife . I love to start slinging the paint around and using quick, but thoughtful strokes to add interest and action.  This fellow is painted on a 15 x 30" canvas.

I will be in Atlanta tomorrow and Sunday for the Old Fourth Ward Art Festival.  Sept 28, 10-5 and the 29, 11-5. The following weekend I will be in Louisville, KY.  More about that and my other shows coming up later.
