corgi

This is a cardigan Welsh corgi that a patron commissioned me to do as a surprise birthday gift for her friend.  This was the first time I had ever seen this type of corgi.  I feel a little kinship to this dog because my maiden name Morgan, originated in Wales.  My family is not this hairy. Or sweet.

This is painted on a 12 x 12 x 2" canvas.

Please come out to Art in the Hills this coming Saturday at the Vestavia Municipal City Hall grounds.  The hours are 10 -4.
