fluffy fowl spat

I tried to look up what type of chickens these are but had no luck.  I took the picture at a feed store close to where my sister lives in north Alabama. They are white/buffish with a little black on their tail feathers. They were very fluffy.  These two look kind of like they had just had a little spat.  This is painted on a 20 x 30 x 2" canvas.
