This is the first day I have gotten back to painting after losing my father. My Dad had been pretty sick since Christmas. I am thankful to have been able to spend lots of time with him before he died last Sunday. He was a great man and loved by many but nobody more than his family. He was very proud of what I was doing with my art and I am grateful to him for much of my creativity. Sold

I really like your work.
Oh Carol, I am so sad to hear of the loss of your dad. My dad passed away when he was 47 in 1985, and it still hurts this many years later. Your dad looks a wonderful man, a gentle spirit. I love how you've the cow resting in the field; it definitely denotes a peace and a restfulness. Please accept my sincere condolences and sympathies.ReplyDelete
Prayers for you this morning, Carol.ReplyDelete

So sorry for your loss. Yesterday, my parents celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary--what a blessing. It is difficult to think of life without them--so my prayers go out to you during this difficult time.ReplyDelete
It's a hard, hard loss and even almost 10 years out I'm still painfully missing my own Dad. You are a good daughter and he was proud of you. I'm sure you eased his journey, and he was grateful for your love. Peaceful bovine, too….ReplyDelete
Hi Carol, I've followed your blog and beautiful art for a long time and have never commented. My heart goes out to you on the loss of your father.ReplyDelete
