The reference photo for this painting
is one of my favorite pictures I took during my trip to England. Is it a problem that I am in England and more interested in taking pictures of people than things like Stonehenge? I took a few token pictures of the big rocks.
This is painted on a 20 x 20 x 1 1/2" linen canvas.sold

Beautiful! Just love the colors in this one. She is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI see nothing wrong with taking photos of strange people. Doesn't everyone do that?
Love this color palette.
ReplyDeleteLove how you handled her hair Carol, nice!
Gros bisous
I love how you painted her hair! And love the pinks and the whole color palette! And not a thing wrong with taking photos of whatever inspires you- wherever you are!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! A deceptively simple composition. This could be my daughter when she was little or any of my granddaughters.
ReplyDeleteNo matter where I go, I look at people as well! My husband thinks it will get me in trouble someday!!! LOL..but .that's what we do when we see that perfect reference picture.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this painting of this little girl, Carol...Her pink sweater is perfect!!
