Now and then she will actually pick up her head to see something. Somehow she knows the deer that frequent the woods behind our house are out there before she can see them. My husband was the one who wanted a dog so that he would have a companion while he was working outside. She will go with him for a few minutes but she is much happier inside. She is pretty much a mama's girl.
