Christmas commissions

These are most of the commissions I have done the past few months for Christmas gifts.  It is so fun helping to make a special present for a deserving recipient. I am honored to be asked!

This has been a trying year but thanks to many patrons I have painted right through it. So thankful to have a job that I can do even through a pandemic.  I greatly missed going to shows and selling directly to customers.  I am hopeful that some outdoor shows will be up and running again this Spring or summer.  I am all for wearing a mask as long as it is needed.

I am looking forward to getting back to basics with my painting.  This is the time of year after most of my commissions are completed that I can focus on slowing down and remembering the most important elements in painting.  A good way to refresh your mind is to reread any workshop information you have.  Most instructors give handouts with information detailing what they think is important. I miss going to  workshops and having workshops at my studio.  Hopefully 2021 will ease up on us a little.  I am not sad to say good bye to 2020. I am, however, thankful for so many good things in my life including you!
