I took the reference photo for this painting up in east Tennessee. I recently accompanied 90 teenagers and 30 adults from my church on a work trip that is sponsored by the Appalachian Service Project. They target homes that need repair to make them warmer, safer or drier. We were in a beautiful area that was located between Bristol and Kingsport, Tennessee.
My small work group thought it was a little weird that I frequently asked them to pull over so that I could photograph cows, sheep or the landscape. They were very accommodating even if they did not get it. This one is painted on an 8 x 10 x 2" canvas.
LOVELY work!
