scrappy
This calf looks a little scrappy to me. This is painted on an 8 x 8 x 2" canvas. I am painting a lot in preparation for many upcoming Spring shows. The next show I have coming up is the Fairhope Arts and Craft Show March 14, 15 and 16. After that I have three during the month of April and a couple in May. Sold

I have had so much fun painting these ladies that I photographed on Dorchester Bay in Boston. I love the baggy suit, stick legs and round belly. They always make me smile. This one is painted on a 6 x 6 x 2" canvas.
I bet the folks in Boston are longing for the days when they can put on a swim suit .

milo
I have never painted a schnauzer before but Milo was pretty fun. He was commissioned by a friend, Dee, to give to her oldest son. Dee and I go way back to high school. We were in art classes together a couple of years. I remember talking and cutting up more than producing art. I got my pay back a few years later when I went on to teach high school art. Milo is painted on an 8 x 10 x 2" canvas.sold

offspring
I have pretty much been holed up in my studio taking advantage of some conflict free days. I have a lot of images that I want to paint but not enough time to get to them. This mother and calf spent a lot of time checking me out. I was thankful they did! This is painted on a 22 x 28 x 2" canvas.sold

new cow
So pleased to have sold most of my cow paintings.
Nothing makes me happier than to get to paint more. This one is painted on a 24 x 36 x 2" canvas.
Ruthie is showing the scale of this painting in relation to her feline form. She turned a year old and has taken over our house. I have turned into the crazy cat lady and have about two hundred pictures of her on my i pad. She is irresistible. And.... my furniture is irresistible to her claws. The downside.sold

new babies
A friend and her sisters commissioned me to paint these young Westies for their Mom. They surprised her with the portrait during a fun get away to Mexico. Boy, that sounds good right now. This is painted on an 11 x 14 x 2" canavs.
I just returned from Nashville where I participated in the Lipscomb Academy Fine Arts Show. Happy to report that I made some new friends and many of my paintings have new homes. I love going to Nashville and it seems like I discover something new and wonderful about it each time. Sunday morning I had a chance to walk around beautiful Radnor Lake. I went early so there were only a few humans. It felt like it was just me and LOTS of deer. So fun!
