"Don't touch the gate!"

I was in Eclectic, AL a couple of weeks ago and came across a very handsome group of young cows. I found a safe place to park next to the fence and it happened to be close to one of the gates.  I felt bad because they thought it was feeding time and came running to me. I actually got to pet some of them. After about five minutes I noticed a little lady start working her way over to me.  She was cutting grass with scissors.  I thought that was a little kooky.  I explained to her that I was just taking pictures of the cows.  She thought I was kooky.  She was concerned that I would open the gate and told me not to at least ten times as she cut the grass walking back toward her house.  I didn't touch the gate.

This is painted on a 30 x 30 x 2" canvas.

  3. Cutting the grass with a scissors sounds pretty tiring especially in a huge field...I can't imagine her worrying about you opening the gate!!!! Lol. LOVE this cow and the perfect pose! I really liked your previous rooster as well. Nice work as always.
