ruthie

This is the first and most probably the last cat I will paint.  Maybe it was the stripes? Yikes!  I am no Diane Hoeptner . One of the best cat and everything else painters I have seen.

  This is my Ruthie and she turns two today.  She is the first cat I have had since I was a little girl.  She is so much fun . (when she wants to be)  I love watching her cat ways.  She has added lots of happiness to our family. This is painted on an 11 x 14" canvas.  Happy birthday Ruthie!

    I hope it is not the last cat painting you do. I love this one. Expressive brushwork suits your Ruthie. Love the background colors too.
    I do agree that Diane is one fantastic cat painterm but there are many styles of painting - thank God - and I personally like both yours and Diane's styles
