narrow view

I recently returned from Nashville after participating in a plein air workshop with Frank Serrano.  I learned a lot about painting landscapes and painting outside.  I am not a plein air painter but feel that it will improve my studio work if I squeeze some in.  Frank is a terrific painter and is a good teacher as well.  I came home with lots to think about and hopefully put into practice.
I am preparing for an upcoming show where I am only going to bring my animal paintings.  The Moss Rock Festival is November 2nd and 3rd and is a festival devoted to art, design and the environment. Right up my alley.  Click on the link for more information.

This rooster is painted on a 4 x 12 x 1 1/2" canvas.sold
