dog days

These may be the dog days but they have been pretty comfortable as of late. I just spent five days in Asheville, NC caring for my six year old neice and nine year old nephew while their parents were away.  I learned a lot of new things, got lots of hugs and had a great time.   It was was fun to give them back to their parents too. I like being a renter.
I came back to my baby 22 year old son needing surgery to repair a broken ankle.     He did well in surgery this morning and is on the mend.
This is painted on a 5 x 7" linen panel.

  3. So glad you had a chance to spend some one on one time with your niece and nephew. I'll bet all three of you had a blast. So sorry to hear about your son though. I am thankful that it was not too serious and that he is on the mend. Love your beach paintings with kids, always. This one too!
