dorothy

This week's daily paintworks challenge. Linda Popple sent in a photo of this girl in NYC and we are to work from it. Pretty simple. It will be fun to watch what different artists do with it. I did not have a lot of time to paint today so I kept it pretty simple. The girl is looking at her cell phone in the photo so I changed it to a book. I also edited out a purse between her legs.
Happy Easter!

  2. J'aime la manière que la lumière vient balayer votre personnage... Il est vrai qu'on a encore du mal a intégrer dans nos peintures un téléphone portable! mais le livre lui va aussi très bien... l'histoire doit être captivante...

  4. Thanks for putting in a book, Carol. I get so irritated when I see everyone always glued to those danged cell phones. My own kids have been known to do that as well. Give me a book any day! Love what you've done with this one; and as always, it is gorgeous.
