Another creative title. I actually spent some time thinking about a title for this painting and came up with nothing. These are really long peppers and it was fun painting them on a narrow, 6 x 12" canvas. So hard to beat the vivid colors in peppers.

What a gorgeous still life! Your creativity comes through just in your staging then explodes onto the canvas in one gorgeous piece after another! Beautiful, Carol.
ReplyDeleteWonderful painting with such vibrant colors. The lighting is really gorgeous, too!
ReplyDeleteYou should solicit title entries. How about "three's a crowd"?
Fantastic composition, Carol! The peppers look like they are a close family! Ah...it's the pepper family...dad, mom and junior!
ReplyDeleteI saw this on the square format thumbnail and thought "what the heck??????"...but it make a lot more sense now! This is a great format and a fun composition, as well as your always pleasing palette. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrancy and creative composition!
ReplyDeleteLoving these pepper paintings, Carol. Looks like a little of Texas rubbed off on you!
ReplyDeleteTu as très bien réussi la couleur de tes poivrons, mais aussi du fond. Car, une couleur orangée n'était pas évidente. Et puis, c'est une bonne idée le format de la toile en hauteur.
ReplyDeleteBravo!

Such a clever composition, Carol. Love it.
ReplyDeleteWell, you've done it again! Beautiful in every way-color, composition, brushstrokes, you name it. Made me think.......how many people can you get in a phone booth?
ReplyDeleteFabulous painting...so creative in both composition and title. They fit so great on that vertical format. You always paint the best hot reds!
